Techno-pop, electronic-rock band Republica went on hiatus in 2001 and reunited in 2008. After playing a handful of shows, Republica returned to the studio and recorded a brand new single, “Christiana Obey.” The management requested a promotional mini jacket and an additional jewel case to be sold on tour as well as online. The mini jacket was accompanied with a PR information and additional mixes of the single.

 

Management also requested the jewel case cover feature a simple band photo and the double inlay to have a “broken mirror” image. The broken mirror represents the title track of the E.P, which is in reference to beauty and mirrors. Over the course of Republica’s musical career, the color red is predominantly used on the CD singles and the tradition was continued in this design.

 

Their 90s hit single “Ready To Go” was recently featured in the Captain Marvel movie trailer.
