Marion Street Press commissioned the design of a book cover for author Richard Lederer. The book, a celebration of English, grammar, and wordplay, required a cover that reflected its playful spirit. In response to the client’s request, the cover prominently features an image of Mr. Lederer wearing a jester hat—a whimsical reference to the book’s chapter titled ‘Jest for the Pun of It.’
The design approach focused on cleanliness and clarity, with fun, bright colors enhancing the book’s lively nature. The result is a cover that effectively captures attention and communicates the delightful essence of the content.
