Lucy Levinsohn, formerly known as Evolove and Waiting for Wyatt, enlisted my help in bringing her debut solo record to life. Inspired by a stunning collection of photos amid spring blossoms, Lucy envisioned a design that captured the essence of ‘light and airy’ aesthetics with a touch of ‘Alice in Wonderland’ whimsy infused with a ‘folk music’ vibe.
To realize this vision, we opted for a clean and minimalist design approach. The combination of a sleek sans-serif font and an elegant cursive script achieved a harmonious visual balance. Warm shades of greens and gold were carefully chosen to impart a welcoming aura to the artwork. The strategic use of black, drawn from the daisies in Lucy’s dress, tied the entire presentation together seamlessly.
