In 2006, I won an album artwork contest hosted by actress and singer-songwriter Marla Sokoloff. That moment marked a major turning point—it became my very first paid design project, leading to a full CD package and a companion website where fans could purchase her debut record. It was then that I discovered my passion for designing album art and creating visual identities for musical artists.
Looking back, there are elements I’d approach differently today, so I challenged myself to reimagine the project for a limited vinyl release. The concept features refreshed illustrated vector art, modernized typography, and coordinating packaging with a translucent green or white vinyl variant—an homage to the original, with a more refined and cohesive aesthetic.
